Weekly Update

It's been a busy week in camp with a full house, and the fishing has been great. The Whitakers & Roberts hired walleye guide Bill Clark on Thursday and the group managed to pull in six walleyes over 25inches.Jeff Bryndal and Paul Brickman experienced the catch of a lifetime the other day in Satchel's Bay. Paul had just landed a 33inch, 10lb. pike when Jeff hooked an identical size muskie! They photographed both fish at the same time and those photos will be posted as soon as possible.
Dave Williams with his mid-week walleye catch.

A friendly neighbor behind camp.

In other news:

-Lunge Lodge would like to introduce "The best bagels on the French River". Fresh homemade bagel sandwiches are now being offered in the boxed lunches. Mary, the cook, bakes the fresh bagels on a daily basis for all to enjoy.

-Tentative ice-fishing is scheduled for this winter! Plans are currently in the works, so if you're considering testing out the winter fishing on the Upper French River, let us know what you think.
