Still working on his first musky

Sid's still got two days left to hook into his first musky; he's been casting like a champ all week and is catching fish, just not the species he seeks!Sid with a nice largemouth that hit on a jointed Bucher Depth Raider.
A walleye caught on a musky-sized bucktail.

The two of us brave the elements Wednesday evening pursuing our quarry.

Tony,
If bass and walleyes are hitting on Depth Raiders and bucktails it sounds like you need to use larger lures to get the attention of a big girl. Tell Sid to start casting "Da Pounder" Bulldawg. Those fish want 15" and 13oz. of deliciousness.
If a musky is a fish of 10,000 casts, then Sid is on his 9,850 cast and is just about due.
